Ron V. Flick, CEO / President
Ron Flick has been President and CEO of Compass Group since its inception in 1999 and is a Certified General Contractor. Working construction during high school and college, Ron attended East Tennessee State University followed by a twenty-year career in Army Aviation. After retirement, Ron received his Masters of Public Administration and was the Director of Business Development for a construction company for several years before starting Compass Group with his wife, Lisa. He is a Rotarian and serves on the Board of Directors of the Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach - Yulee Chamber of Commerce and the Barnabas Center.
Jeffrey Ryan, Vice President / Project Manager
Jeff entered into the construction industry straight from high school
working a variety of jobs from surveying to field engineer. Jeff joined
Compass Group in 1999 as a Site Manager while attending the University
of North Florida. Completing his construction management degree in
2002, Jeff is now a Vice President and Senior Project Manager with the company, as well as a Certified
General Contractor. His experience includes project managing several flagship
hotels, multifamily
residences, restaurants
and industrial facilities.
Amy K. Shuster, CFO / Secretary / Treasurer
Amy Shuster has been with Compass Group since its inception in 1999. A
mathematics major with a degree from Hiram
College in Ohio and an MBA from the University
of Phoenix, Amy is currently the CFO and Secretary / Treasurer of
Compass Group. Having successfully run other accounting departments in
other companies, Amy brings to the company the maturity and skills necessary
to run a first-rate accounting department.
Brian J. Flick, Director of Business Development
After graduating from the University
of West Florida in 2003 with a degree in Information Systems Management,
Brian returned to Fernandina Beach to work for Compass Group as
its Business Development Director. In this capacity, Brian is the first
point of contact for any prospective client. He has received certification
from the National
Association of Church Design Builders. He is an active member of his
community working with Communities
in Schools and Leadership Nassau Youth.
Heather Jones, Director of IT
Wearing several different hats in the Compass Group organization, Heather's primary function in the organization is to act as our Information Technologies specialist. After receiving her IT degree from the University of North Florida, she was the president of a local computer company running all aspects of the business. She since has moved to Compass Group and, in addition to her IT skills, acts as a Project Account Manager.
Lisa Flick, Director of Marketing / Human Resources
Starting Compass Group with husband Ron in 1999, Lisa is the Director
of Marketing and Human Resource Director. A former Navy nurse, Lisa received
her nursing degree from the University
of San Francisco and has completed her masters in Public Administration
from Troy
State. She is an active member of her community and sings in several
community groups and is on the board of directors for the Amelia Island
Chamber Music Singers.
