After spending 20 years as an officer in the United States Army, Ron Flick and his wife, Lisa, retired from the military and made their new home on Amelia Island, Florida. With two children still in school, Ron worked as a business development director for a local Jacksonville builder. With the burgeoning growth in the Nassau County area of northeast Florida, Ron and Lisa saw the opportunity and need for a local commercial construction company whose owners had ties to Nassau County. Using the skills of his previous jobs, plus the experience of working with seven uncles in the construction industry while growing up in northeast Tennessee, Ron created what is now known as Compass Group. Starting out with 5 employees including Ron and Lisa, Compass Group now has over 15 employees. Specializing in the Design-Build process and Program Management, Compass Group now can offer the southeast region of the United States a vast array of superior construction services.
